When the dialog to select your destination drive comes up, click on 'Utilities' then 'Disk Utility' on the taskbar at the top of the screen. In my case, I selected erase and it automatically created an HFS (mac file system) partition. knifeyspoony Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 MarthaTillman, I haven't been able to find an install disc with support for the SB600 chipset in SATA mode. You may be able to get OS X to recognize your hard drive, though, if you are able to toggle it to legacy mode in your BIOS. BitBaXeMan Posted January 6, 2008 Share Posted January 6, 2008 I'm using the same dvd, and I'm at the same spot, except that when I select the appropriate drive, it tells me I have insufficient privileges to erase it. All options that say "repair permissions" are greyed out and unavailable. I'm stuck...
