Pentium 4 (Prescott) and SSE3

Hey I'm still downloading Kaliway. 99%. I hate the number 99.

 

My configuration so far:

 

Pentium 4 (Prescott) 3.0 GHz

Gigabyte 8I865GVMK mobo

A 80GB Maxtor for Windoze and Linux (test).

A 160GB Seagate for OSX86 and Linux (real).

768MB of RAM (256 + 512 -- Wish I was smarter, I would buy me 2x512MB of RAM for Dual Channel)

JaS 10.4.6 --> 10.4.7 by JaS update --> 10.4.8 by official update and some kexts --> 10.4.9 by JaS Combo Update... Will try to get to 10.4.11, although 10.4.9 works great for me.

 

Still a little buggy.

No AGP or PCIe slot so I'm stuck with onboard graphics which sucks (no CI/QE of course) => No DVD Player.

Skitch won't capture screen, only windows.

VLC refuses to play any video.

DiskImageMounter won't work if I don't load IOHDIXController.kext first.

 

Other than that, it's good.
