fleee
okay it worked out, while i hardly knew what i was doing there, but thanks to this forum it workd out. my way is messy, cause i don't know what i am doing, but it works for me okay i have 2 hard disks in that laptop and when the pc starts up i can qickly press f2 and choose from wich he wants to start up or i can choose also to start up from dvd-drive. so i start up from toh-dvd , hit f8 and type -v-x after a long time finally the leopard installer starts up (vakakush installation instructions helpd me now) i click for disk utilityn, choose my 2nd partition format hard disk as mac os extended(journaled) click erase after this i choose the tab partition and select volume scheme (1 partition) and in volume information i type Leopard (not leopard) -> L click option ans select master boot record click apply go out of disk utility to go on with installation select the Volume Leopard and before the final hit choose customize and deselect additional fonts, language translations install leopard. after instal i restart the pc and start up again on the toh install dvd. hit f8 type\-v-x when install disk finally loads,go to utillities and select terminal type diskutil list u will see than your volume name (Leopard) and the diskidentifier (e.g. disk1s1) this was my id type now diskutil unmount diskXsx the x you have to replace with your own numbers type /usr/misc/script.sh Leopard now when i restart and choos for my 2nd disk on wich i installed Leopard i just got the blinking cursor so i started up again from install-dvd and from now on the profs might laugh, but i just tried things out i repaired the disk an disk permissions i go again to the terminal and type again: /usr/misc/script.sh Leopard i unmount the disk with typing diskutil unmount diskxsx type: fdisk -e /dev/rdiskx (x=disknumber, mine was 1) (1 space between e and /, i made the mistake first, and typed: fdisk -e/dev rdiskx instead - press enter p -press enter f 1 (space between f and 1 ) -press enter write - press enter y -press enter exit -press enter now i install that script again, type /usr/misc/script.sh Leopad type: diskutil unmount diskxsx type: fdisk -e /dev/rdiskx (x=disknumber, mine was 1) (1 space between e and /, i made the mistake first, and typed: fdisk -e/dev rdiskx instead - press enter p -press enter f 1 (space between f and 1 ) -press enter write - press enter y -press enter exit -press enter now i reboot and choose my 2nd hard disk and i really had to be quick hittin f8 while booting type: -legacy and press enter now i think your leopard should boot now go to Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and click get info click the padlock button below and enter your root password when prompted then click the "+" icon and add your user account giving it read+write permission then click ok.. now open it and similarly change the permission of com.apple.Boot.plist and add -legacy to last line<string><string> it should look like this <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-legacy</string> </dict> </plist> now close it and open the disk utility choose leopard and click repair disk permissions after the disk permission repair is complete reboot. When your computer reboots this time, you're ready. now i can choose if i want to load vista or leopard i have in leopard no sound and just a low resolution i hope someone can help me with that: i attached a pic of my system greetz flee
