I can't boot off Mac OS X dvds because of my ide jmicron. Is there any way to take my partition and restore it to a GUID partition? sg Posted December 29, 2007 Share Posted December 29, 2007 use disk uility and make an image of the partition, then format your drive to guid, install the boot loaders/pc efi and go back to disk utility and restore it to the partition (make sure the format/erase option isnt checked). you might have to reinject the pc efi loader after a restore.
