Dojomann Posted December 29, 2007 Share Posted December 29, 2007 I got Kalyway's 10.5.1 OSX, and modified the ISO to include the newest nforce ATA kext so that i could install it onto my SATA drives. All went well, except the actual installed kext is the old one, so when i actually boot into the OS it hangs, unable to access my sata drive. I want to somehow put that new kext into the already installed partition of the OS, and was wondering how to do that. I have a livecd of ubuntu, and i'm trying to mount the HFS+ partition in read/write mode but no matter what i do it's always read-only. how can i fix this?
