dcook Posted December 28, 2007 Share Posted December 28, 2007 My uphuck 1.4i disk doesn't detect my new SATA drive, so I decided to install to my old IDE, and move my home and applications directories to the SATA drive, and create symbolic links from the IDE drive. What I'm wondering, is if I can do the same for the System and Library directories without running into trouble with booting, permissions, etc? Thanks.
