I have recently upgraded my PC hardware and built myself what I consider to be a fast PC. After discussion with friends, I have been looking into methods of installing MAC OS-X, preferably LEOPARD, onto my AMD (S940) PC. Thus I would be interested to build up some positive opinions and working AMD Hardware Compatibility Lists - both Motherboards and CPU's. There seems to be lots of write ups on INTEL stuff but little on AMD! I'm sure I'm not the only one eager for some relative info. Heres my Hardware list for those that are interested:- MOBO: Asus MSN32-SLI Premium CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400 (Socket AM2/940) CHIPSET: NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI RAM: 2GB DDR2-PC800 HDD: 2xSATA INTERNALS (Primary 250GB - Secondary 320GB) LAN: nForce 590 Network Controller (x2) AUDIO: CREATIVE SB X-Fi PCI Current primary O/S - MICROSOFT WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE So if anybody has any info on Hardware Compatibility - ESPECIALLY NFORCE 590 CHIPSETS - I'd look forward to hearing it.
