I am having trouble locating an AMD release of 10.5. What is the preferred AMD release for 10.5? Is this release x86 or x86_64? Also, does this release support Nforce 4 SATA/PATA and/or ATI IXP SATA/PATA chipsets? If not..how difficult would it be to add the kext files for the support? Thanks! However, when I try to boot it on my Nforce 4 chipset (PATA Optical, SATA HDD), it goes through a lengthy boot process..to return the following kextd[43]: root filesystem is read-only; skipping kernel link data generation After this message, it just sits there.
