Firewire and USB2.0 Conflicts

Hey all.

 

I have not found a solution for this anywhere. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

 

 

- System specs:

 

Ab9Pro

Core 2 Duo 6700

2 GB Ram

1 SATA Hard Drive

1 SATA DVD Drive

Radeon 1900GT

 

Installed Kalyway release. Works great. (iATKOS didnt do it for me)

 

- The problem:

 

Firewire does not work if USB2.0 is selected in bios. If only USB1.0 is allowed in BIOS settings...then I'm fine. Yet if I select USB2.0, then I get the message "Unable to list firewire devices".

(I also seem to have my memory recognized as 1 GB of 400 MHZ ram when my system really has 2 GB of DDR800? Any help there?)
