Ashok0
Hi, Im running a Q6600 with a Gigabyte P35-DS3P v1. mobo. I just installed KALYWAY 10.5.1 + Vanilla Kernel + nvinject + MBR and everything worked out of the box. Leo booted fine and my NIC and 8800GTS were working smoothly. However, after copying over the ALC889a kexts (AppleHDA and ALCinject) and setting permissions I can no longer boot Leo. :-( I tried repairing permissions in Disk Utility but Leo just hangs at the white Apple logo. I tried booting with -v -x and it just stops loader after "/.fseventsd getting new uuid" Anyone have any ideas? Im SOOOO close to getting this working. I dont know why the ALC889a kexts kill Leo, I was able to install the ALC889a kexts just fine using Brazilmac. If anyone else has had this problem or has a solution I would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!!! Ashok0
Never mind, I fixed my boot problem and got Leo working with 889A audio using the AppleHDA Patcher v1.20! Kalways is working 100% perfect now, awesome release!!!
