Holleboom
So, finally got the IATKOS Leo release running on my Santa Rosa -based notebook, everything working, except the Wifi, but I dont care to much about that. My Intel X3100 is (was) working, even in a dual screen setup (19' 1440*900 + 1280*800), but I accidently turned on the box 'mirroring', wich is meant to clone a display, like in Windows. But now, when I connect my second 19" screen, both screens begin flickering and show stripes, everything invisible. The only way to stop this is by plugging out the second screen. I can't see the option to turn it off. Is there a way to turn this option off by default without having to plugin a second monitor? Thanks! I know this is kind of old, but I figured it would be worth a bump since I kind of figured out a way to turn it off(may take a few tries) 1. startup with your primary display only. 2. make sure you have "Show displays in menu bar" enabled under display preferences. 3. hover mouse over the monitor icon in the menu bar. Don't move it! 4. plug up 2nd display. Wait for it to do all of its corrupting. 5. click exactly where you had the mouse hovered in step 3. If you haven't changed it intentionally somehow, the display mirroring option should be the 2nd down in the menu. I know you can't see it, so you'll have to guestimate it. It took me a few tries to get it right, but I was able to turn off mirroring this way. If you can't quite get it, you can click where you were hovering, switch back to your primary display by unplugging the secondary, and you will see the normal menu as if there were 2 displays hooked up. Unfortunately, selecting it there won't do anything, but at least you will have an idea of what it is supposed to look like.
