Beniboy Posted December 26, 2007 Share Posted December 26, 2007 when installing darwin what partition number do i use?... or how do i find out the partition number?... and for the hard drive, i have to use 1 not 0 right? i have vista installed on the first partition and i have a storage partition and then i have a leopard partition. how do i find out the partition number ..please and thanks to everyone.. i have a sata 200gb 4200rpm hhd... gilillo Posted December 26, 2007 Share Posted December 26, 2007 hi You need to go to start then in the find box you type "diskpart" (w/o the quotes) there you type "list disk" and it will show you all your HD's, then you type "select disk=X" (where X is your HDnumber) and then type "list partition" and there you go it will list all your partitions.
