djzander Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 steps i did to get it to boot using iatkos dvd gparted the hdd to fat32 +boot flag loaded the installation , formatted the hdd to journald with disk utility didnt add any drivers . started install , after the disk check , it starts to install , but hangs after about and inch into the installation . i can hear the cdrom stop its activity . when trying to install with kalyway it just loads the drivers and reboots , a kernel panic of some sort. suggestions ? i searched and it seems that no one has this problem ? p5n32-e sli plus mb (650i hybrid) q6600 @ 2.8 4X ocz ddr2 800 sli edition . wdc wd400eb ide Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
