infty
Hi all. What's the cleverest way to install the Kalyway 10.5.1 Leopard DVD onto a machine with JMicron IDE controllers? It obviously can't detect my DVD-Rom. I have one SATA drive available that I want to install it to and some spare small (PATA) IDE drives that I could use, but IDE doesn't work, so... Cleverly, I tried to dd if=image.iso of=/dev/sda2 after creating a tiny partition at the very end of my SATA drive and setting it to active. That didn't work. Any other ideas? Cheers. Raid13
Hello, If you utilize your IDE DVD-Drive, when you install the Kalyway's Leopard, you can't see any Ide Hard Drives. I've test to install this version with a Sata DVD-Drive and I haven't got any problem to install Kalyxay's Leopard. infty
but i can't even install with an ide dvd-rom drive anyway, since it won't boot from that either... the bios detects it but once it starts booting, it fails to find it and dies. ("Cannot find com.apple.boot.plist.")
