what is the differences in the booting progress between kalyway iatkos and vanilla

Hi,

 

I am wondering what the differences are with the above booting methods, because i noticed some boot, and some dont, what i mean is using the boot flags

 

cpus=1 -x -v rd=disk0s1 on kaly boots, but using the same on either iatkos or vanilla doesnt

 

I also notice the iatkos loads alot faster then kalyway (before it freezes)

 

currently I can only boot into the system if i use kalyway dvd and use the above flag, is there a way to transfer the booting extensions onto the hard drive from the cd? and again how comes kalyway takes alot longer to boot then the others.
