fishkorp
I just installed 10.4.3 native and when the PC reboots it goes through the "welcome" screen animation, after that's over it shows the wheel for a second, then goes back to the animation. This process keeps repeating. I'm using a Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse combo, not sure if that can cause it. I also have an ATI Radeon 9600 vid card. Other hardware should be ok. Anyone run into anything similar? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7748-1043-install-cant-get-past-welcome-screen-on-reboot/ Share on other sites
fishkorp
Well, I got it to work. I plugged in only USB stuff, that helped a bit, but still had issues. I re-ran the installer with the nonx kernel and it seems to work ok, but now I don't have SSE3, which I'd like to try out some stuff with Rosetta. I'll have to play around a bit more.
