I'm going to work on a longer term solution, but this'll get you up and running.

infty
note that real macs have not had ps/2 connectors in over ten years. i'm not surprised that it doesn't work, unless someone wrote a fix specifically for this.

reilley
I have this same problem, but it is with my notebook keyboard. I can't enter text during registration, but the mousepad works fine.
Mayakovski
Currently running the Kalyway 10.5.1 release on a dell Optiplex with a PS/2 keyboard and mouse. First regular boot the system would not respond to either kyb or mouse, so shut off comp, waited 30 sends, restarted, and things are now fine.
