But when I boot in the normal mode I don´t have my dvd drive in the system profiler and it don´t works! When I boot in safe mode, then the dvd drive works... I don´t know what ´ s the problem. Maybe some driver don´t work well?! My system is a Asus P4GD1 withe a 915 mobo chipset. Graphics: ATI AIW X1900 with working nati drivers. DVD Drive is a Plextor PX760A ide. Sata, USB, Lan, Sound, ps2 keyboard all works fine! Pleasa Help Greets from Austria! hecker Posted December 22, 2007 Share Posted December 22, 2007 I had a similar problem to this. How I solved it: Set your DVD jumper to master and make sure that it's correctly connected to the cable. Master devices should be plugged to the black connector (usually the end of the cable). Then go to your bios and manually set the device to NONE (since it's not a hard drive) in the basic configuration section. hecker PS: Spreche auch Deutsch!
