Jackal23 Posted December 21, 2007 Share Posted December 21, 2007 When i try to boot the installation for OS X tiger-x86-flat.img i get an error. I've put it on the hard drive when i tried to boot it it said there was a partkition error. I fixed that and then it said there was a chain loader error. So it won't boot at all. my grub looks like this: default 1timeout 10 title Ubuntu 7.10 root (hd1,0) kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.22-14-generic root=UUID=83407db1-0521-4128-a025-5dd211af4373 ro quiet splash initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.22-14-generic quiet title Windows XP Media Center Edition root (hd0,0) savedefault makeactive chainloader +1 title OSX_X86 rootnoverify (hd1,2) makeactive chainloader /chain0 title Advance Options: root title Ubuntu 7.10, kernel 2.6.22-14-generic (recovery mode) root (hd1,0) kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.22-14-generic root=UUID=83407db1-0521-4128-a025-5dd211af4373 ro single initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.22-14-generic title Ubuntu 7.10, memtest86+ root (hd1,0) kernel /boot/memtest86+.bin quiet I've got two hardrives OS X is not booting from the hard drive it is on. It is booting from a blank one that has all the flies from the CD /usr/standalone/i386 like the guid told me to if there is a partition error. Can someone help me???
