legionX
Ok after digging through every computer and computer junk box I have in my house I seem to not have a single one that is easily compatible with QE & CI. Here's what I have: GeForce 4200Ti GeForce 8600GT Radeon x300 Mobility I have given up on the Radeon in my Dell D610 laptop, I know the 8600GT is a lost cause, so is there ANY way to get the 4200 working properly? Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/77068-geforce-4-series/ Share on other sites
riws
With Natit you get QuartzExtreme, Hardware CoreImage is impossible with this Card. *Add your ID to NVDAResman.kext, GeForce.kext and NVDA20Hal.kext *Removed the NVDAN40 one. elmetal
legionX: It's not a lost cause. 10.5.2 will include 8600 support. check the forums for a post made yesterday about that. good luck :-) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/77068-geforce-4-series/#findComment-544639 Share on other sites

elmetal
I doubt older cards will be supported with newer software.. if anything they should lose the support..
