jcoutu1
Has anyone installed and ran Pro Tools LE on a Hackintosh? How is it running? How many tracks can you run? Have there been any problems? Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/76949-pro-tools-on-hackintosh/ Share on other sites
kidrobot
Not Pro Tools but I've had Ableton running fine with a Presonus Firebox. Seems to be running the same as on a real Mac. Marky Mark
I've been using LE w/ an Mbox 2 but it kind of sucks. I don't know if it's something I did but if I put too many plugins or soft synths in a session it tells me to increase my hardware buffer samples (shich are already at the max). It might be because I don't know what I'm doing though. If you're just doing a couple of tracks it works like a champ, I think it might be the plugins & soft synths.
