Godolete
I gave up trying to get my Intel Q35 mobo to boot Uphuck, so I replaced it with a GA-31MX-S2 board which uses ICH7 instead of ICH9. At least now I can boot the DVD and install the OS without any trouble. Unfortunately, that's as far as I'm able to get. When it comes time to boot the OS from the HD, I get a kernel panic right after the bootloader parses the extensions and the kernel initializes. Any known issues that I might not be aware of? It's a pretty simple setup, Core 2 Quad QX6600, 2gb DDR2/800, Nvidia GeForce 7800GT. Thanks for the help.
jlowe64
I have the same board.. You'll have better luck with Leopard. ToH works the best. I'm downloading the new Uphuck release of Leopard right now. We'll see how well it works.
