makelo Posted December 17, 2007 Share Posted December 17, 2007 Hi all, I have a notebook with Vista on it, and i'm trying to install the ToH release of Leopard as described in some guides... on a new partition on the same disk as Vista. The installation went well, so i rebooted as required and applied the patch script. But here the problems begin: i cannot start my pc. Even the Darwin bootloader doesn't show, i just get a blinking cursor. I can only start it via the ToH DVD, but i immediately get a kernel panic when trying to load Leopard. I heard it would be useful to insert some strings in the bootloader, but the only one i can start is the one on the DVD! So everything i instert after pressing F8 refears to DVD installation...
