KayDat
I originally posted in the osx86scene forum, but it seems something happend to their servers a short while ago (couldn't access), and my post, along with my account is longer there. I'm assuming they restored from a backup or something, but yea. Whatver. Here's my build: AMD "Winchester" 3000+ (yes, no SSE3) Chaintech VNF4 Ultra 2GB DDR400 (2x1GB) Powercolor X1800 XL I've tried just about all the guides I've found, gave up patching Leo disk and went and downloaded the "Mac_OS_X_Leopard_10.5.1_for_AMD_SSE2_SSE3_(32bits)" torrent, all to no avail. I can't quite remember all the details, since it was in my old post which was deleted, but I've gone through BrazilMAC's guide, the one one here, and a bunch of other ones. I've tried patching AMD decrypts, adding kext's for SATA, the list goes on. Basicly, when I use a disk I've patched myself, the computer boots into the Apple logo with the "spinning clock", it sits there thinking for a while, and reboots. When I replace the mach_kernel with an SSE2 version, it sits on the Apple logo indefinatly, or sits here with the "-v -x" command: Meanwhile, with the torrent downloaded iso, when I use either "-legacy" or "-v -x", it loops this error: The loops starts 15 lines down, starting after the line "BSD root: disk3s3, major 14, minor 9". Help would be much appreciated! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/76548-issues-with-osx-on-nforce4-sse2/ Share on other sites
