But i didnt have a proper driver for my 8500gt so i downloaded and installed NVinject and after i rebooted i got the regular grey screen again... That realy sucked... Anyhow i booted back to my install cd and tried using the terminal there to remove the kext but i dont have the right permissions to delete caches...so after rebotting i get the same grey screen... pkmoazzam Posted December 16, 2007 Share Posted December 16, 2007 go to catch Dwaine bootloader by press F8, type -s. when at the prompt, type "/sbin/mount -uw /" (without quote), then type "rm -rf /Volumes/Leopard/System/Library/Extensions/NVinject.kext" (without quote) i hope this help good luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

davidyaha Posted December 16, 2007 Author Share Posted December 16, 2007 ok after looking closer on your way im getting the feeling that im not doing it right.. you ment press F8 when the os is booting while i was pressing F8 while install disk was booting.. anyhow i cant boot without the cd so i am not getting to the right files... any idea how to get to this file??
