Extension archive has a bad checksum problem

Hi all,

a really strange behaviour is happening here... I've installed a 10.4.10 installation from mac.nub DVD which works great, anything is working, including natit and my nvidia cards, all well...

BUT...

I have to delete both Extensions cache files before shutting down, otherwise the system will not startup again, but will report

"Error: Extension archive has a bad checksum"

"Couldn't unpack multi-extension archive"

"Cannot find driver for "ACPI"

and a kernel panic...

If I then delete both Extensions cache files with something like TransMac, the startup will work and the system runs... but if I try to start the system when the Extensions cache files are there, the kernel panic will occur...

I've already tried repairPermissions, no luck...

ANY IDEA????

Thanks a lot for any hint.

Markus
