Jason C
Installed Tiger with ZERO issues a while back. I cant even boot from the Leopard DVD to install. Kernel panics. Is there a known minimum chipset requirement for Leopard? Did anyone else have sucess installing Leopard on an Intel 865 chipset?

My E520 guide tells how to install on ICH8R even though DVD won't boot. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=510839
Frodos
I don't know if my chipset is the same as yours perhaps a little newer but I have an Acer Aspire and what I had to do to get it to work from my 10.4.10 Kalaway Tiger was to create a new partition then restore the image into the new partition(set mine to about 20 gigs for some reason but i assume you could get away with smaller). I think reboot and pressed F8 and booted into the partition containing the image. Worked like a charm. Hope that helps in some way.
