captainkp
The first dmg file is an unpatched copy of the developer DVD. The second file is the developer DVD converted to an ISO and patched with the JaS patch. Either one would work if you are sure the patched DVD is legit, and not patched with other {censored} as well. There are several guides on the Wiki. Click the link at the very top of the page. Metrogirl
Thanks for observing the site rules! You can find links for these on Google - and I just checked, so unless something has changed by the time you read this, you will see three on the first results page. No, I'm not going to say any more, so don't ask! :censored2: Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7639-which-image-do-i-use-osx/#findComment-47813 Share on other sites
gman.php
I posted it in another thread, there it was wrong, because he had no image file. But for you it could be a solution: Check the md5 Hash of the file with md5summer. so you know what image you have Here the Sums: 3665735d1b651b5a4ad15ca59ab40142 *macosx_10.4.3_8f1111_for_dtk_userdvd.dmg f086fa1cdd01013c9787dfd1e92c2078 *macosx_10.4.3_8f1111_for_dtk_userdvdunpatched.iso 16139ae55ac283c114a5231f85c3f54c *macosx_10.4.3_8f1111_for_dtk_userdvdpatched.iso "patched" means patched with JaS patch. If no sum fits, you maybe have an own build (wespley-patched or something).
