fowler279
Ok i think ive tried just about everything and short of getting a new board im fresh outta ideas. I went from not even getting the install screen to being able to install it but now i cant run post patch cause it doesnt install a user when it installs. Here is what i get when i try to patch it. Im using the Brazil patch disk. Everything seems to install fine just after brwosing around in terminal trying to figure it all out there is nothing under users xcept the Shared file. Anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this please let me know. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
nonick2
As I understand, your Leopard volume should be named "Leopard". Try from that shell mv /Volumes/YOURVOLUMENAME /Volumes/Leopard and run the fix again
fowler279
MY Volume name is Leopard. So that command wont work since its already names Leopard. The problem is there is no user name to direct the patch to in order to fix it. Or at least thats the way im seeing it.
