ph363
does anyone know how to spoof the ethernet (en0) mac? It was very easy to do in tiger but isnt working in 10.5. The same method works for the airport card, but not the ethernet port. sudo ifconfig en0 lladdr [mac] <== no longer works. mehralsmensch
It appears that command will only work for wireless cards in Leopard. I would like to know if there is a solution for the ethernet though. I'm not sure if this is true but I read somewhere that Time Machine in Leopard stores your ethernet mac address in backups which is why you are only able to change the wireless mac in Leopard.
