banini_jeque Posted December 14, 2007 Share Posted December 14, 2007 I'm on a P4 Prescott 2.8, and I think I installed the 10.5.1 update correctly, along with the 9.1.0 ToH kernel and ACPI patch, but About this Mac and the System Profiler both crash. Everything else seems fine. I'm writing this on it right now. Is that about what I can expect with this system right now? Jut get the correct AppleSMBIOS.kext and your up and running!!! there should be one with your EFI_7/8 package!! I turned off the Mac CPU whatever in the BIOS and now the System Profiler works, but About This Mac crashes still. No one knows why the "Apple This Mac" crashes though?
