Is my laptop compatible with Leo? Any glaring problems?

Hi all,

 

I've got Leo working on my tower, so now I want it on my laptop. The tower was a pretty smooth install, following the HowTos.

 

However, my laptop is proving to be a nightmare. It's SSE2 only - more details below.

The Leo patched DVD won't finish loading - it keeps on crashing out. This is the ToH SSE2 version.

I also tried with one of mine - BrazilMac's patched image, and I pulled out the Kernel, patched it for SSE2 as per the HowTo, and put it back in the image.

 

Same problem - the setup never finishes loading.

 

There might be something about my hardware that means it just won't work?

Or maybe someone can point me in the direction of a really good Intel SSE2 patched image? It would be very helpful to try another.....!

 

It has the latest BIOS (which is pretty old.....)
