I Buy Tomorrow, Help Me Choose A or B

Ok I buy my rig tomorrow. This is my second bite at the Apple and I want to get it right.

My decision has centered around compatibility, future-proofing and money; or limitations thereof. The center of my decision process has been the motherboard coupled with a Core 2 Duo.

I narrowed the Northbridge as follows...

945,965,975 - rejected on the basis of limited future-proofing and in the case of the 975X, cost

x38 - rejected on the basis of cost

This left me with the P35 and some version of the ICH9. I'm down to two choices:

A. Intel BLKDP35DPM LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - $75 (open box)

B. ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - $110 (open box)

Whether A or B it will be coupled with the following :

Intel Core 2 Duo

E6550 2.33GHz Conroe

G.Skill 4gb DDR2 800

WD Caviar SE16 500gb

eVGA GeForce 7900GS 256mb

Lite-On 20X DVD SATA w/LightScribe

What do you think? A or B?

Thanks.

I appreciate the responses.

I ordered the Asus P5K-E WiFi. I really wanted the plain P5K-E but they did not have an open box and the retail was 60% more than the Intel. In the end the overclocking potential was a deciding factor.

I'll report on my build and Leo install in the other forums.

Thanks again.
