w1n78
i'm using Leopard-AMD-10.5.1 disc off the torrents. i tried it on the following machines: - Intel motherboard and Pentium 4 2.5GHz (tried it with SATA HDD and IDE HDD) - Dell Dimension 2350 desktop - Gateway M350WVN laptop (gets stuck on the Gateway logo) i can boot off the DVD using the first 2 machines but i get BSD root: disk0s1, major14, minor 1 message then it reboots. is it because the motherboard is not compatible and can't load the hard drive? or is it something else? thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/75656-is-it-an-hcl-problem/ Share on other sites
w1n78
got my answer. i guess what i've downloaded is AMD only and not all SSE2 compatible.
