MeWhOeLsE
\Sorry for posting multiple times, Its gave me Flood Control errors The only way I can get leopard to install on my system was to use the flat image. This seemed simple at first but now I've come across a huge problem. I've got the original flat image partition on my external hard Drive. But I want to get this working installation onto a pre-existing (but blank) partition on my internal hard Drive, then I would like to set up a dual boot system. First I used a HD Clonetool, Hatchery. This has copied the installation to the internal drive. But I can't get my computer to boot this drive at all! I've used both EasyBCD and the chain0 method with my windows installation but both either boot the USB partition (original 15Gb image), or when I disconnect the USB drive give me a "Chain Booting Error" Here's my diskutil information if that makes it clearer /dev/disk0 #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: FDisk_partition_scheme *232.9 Gi disk0 1: Windows_NTFS Windows 174.1 Gi disk0s1 2: Apple_HFS MacOSX 58.8 Gi disk0s2 <-- this is what I want to boot from the Vista Boot-loader /dev/disk2 #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: FDisk_partition_scheme *232.9 Gi disk2 1: Apple_HFS Leopard 15.0 Gi disk2s1 <-- This is the original flat image (That boots instead) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/75652-hard-disk-and-partition-woes/ Share on other sites
