So after reading all your fine posts and everthing on the forum, i figured I would throw out what i know and what I don't know about my experience so far.

 

I am running 10.4.3 with JaS 1111a Patch and so far I have had good luck.

My cd rom works

My screen is in my native 1024x768 resolution, Chess works, but DVD player doesn't

Itunes opens and runs stable

My sound card works without a problem.

Quicktime works just fine

I have no battery support. I have tried the power management changes suggested but i just get the no battery found or still calculating error messages.

I had absolutely no problems installing applications or the os itself. Also the OS loads in under 20 seconds

I don't have a wireless adapter, so wireless isn't a big deal, i am buying an adapter that works (hehehe whenever i find one).

My wired ethernet works fine.

I don't have access to my network shares, i get an error message about an invalid alias. Pretty common from my research.

Safari does not crash at all.
