gman.php
Hi Guys, I'm installing MacOs X 10.4.3 from DVD and it takes days. Every step takes 10 Minutes, because the setup is loading and loading. But neither the HDD, DVD or CPU is working. It just hangs! Im using the 1111 dmg image, converted to iso, patched with maxxuss kernel patch. I had a 10.4.1 installation before. I deleted the partition in Diskmanagement in Windows and created a new partition with the same size with diskpart. Then I rebooted my notebook and booted osX setup from dvd. Every screen takes hours because it hangs, but the notebook isn't woking. The setup has detected the old installation, although i've deleted the partition. Ok, i had format the deleted area.. Edit: I tried the DVD at my other System (Dual Xeon) and the DVD works there, no hang ups! So my notebook hardware must have a conflict with the dvd. Someone of you guys maybe has an idea?? Thanks and greetz, G-Man Edited January 23, 2006 by gman.php Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7552-1043-installation-takes-days/ Share on other sites
