ALC850 2ch/6ch issue

Hi all,

 

I'm still struggling with the issue that whenever I start Garageband the midi/audio config app sets channels to 6 (instead of my 2ch stereo)

No matter what I do it will always reset to 6 channels.

This is also my only issue I have with Leo on my system.

 

My question is if we can edit the kext or mod the midi/audio config panel (in apps) so that it cannot set channels to 6 (only stereo)

I'm guessing mlov is for stereo and etum is for 6ch?

I also am experiencing this.

 

When I switch back to 2/6 channel my sound returns but I can't edit the volume level.
