patrykens
First of all I'll write down my specs: CPU: Intel 2 Core Duo E6550 2.33Ghz Motherboard: Asus P5W DH Deluxe Graphics: GeForce NX8500GT 2x1GB Patriot DDR2 HD: Seagate Barracuda 500GB SATA 32MB cache (Seagate Barracuda 120GB before) I've tried to install both "ToH x86 9A581_RC2" and "BrazilMac_PatchedDVD", but the problem remained almost the same. When I boot the DVD and installer tells me to "press any key to install mac" I press F8. Then it says "Use up/down keys to select the startup volume" >> hd(111,1) Mac OS X Install Disc x86 -I press Enter >>Darwin/x86 boot v5.0.132 2047MB Memory VESA v3.0 14MB (NVIDIA) Loading darwin/x86 \ <-rotating cursor -After a while grey apple appears with the "activity circle" in the bottom -Then on the apple sign white square with crossed circle appears and nothing happens ... I tried not pressing F8, I tried typing "-v -x" On the other disk there is no grey apple but text scrolling, at the end it says that it is "waiting on root device" I've also tried many bios options, updating Bios, resetting using jumpers ... What should I do now ?? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/75482-mac-wants-to-instal-on-nonexsisting-hd/ Share on other sites
