sladeslade
i've seen there's a lot of motherboards with efi's instead of bios's out there now, would it be possible to just install the original dvd on them and pretend it's a mac, or am i going wrong somewhere? When you say, Original DVD, do you mean as a OSX DVD brought from Apple? If that was what you meant, then I have to tell ya Nope! Shear, Take care. 3vilution
Ok, but like the Bad Axe 2 it says it supports the efi framework or something, so is there like some way to switch to bios to efi or something?
Synaesthesia
You would need to flash your efi to the apple efi, and nobody has done that successfully yet. There is a forum section for this. However netkas's efi emulator comes very close to the efi of apple, and allows you to run OS X with just a *few* modified kexts, like dsmos.kext.
