ziggypop1234 Posted December 8, 2007 Share Posted December 8, 2007 I find this really strange when I load up an mkv 720p hd file using vlc it drops frames massively (by five seconds on most occasions) which basically is impossible to have any viewing pleasure. My graphics card is qe ci enabled ATI x1950Pro 512mb. The wierd thing is when I stream a 720p hd trailer from apple`s website there no slowdown at all. I can`t work this one out. Is there problems with vlc?. I am loading my mkv files locally from my hd. Any help on this would be greatly appreicated. Perfectly smooth MKV 720p and 1080p files. Now i can forget about vista and xp forever! Superb!
