Toshiba A200-175

Hi, been trying to install Leopard on a Toshiba A200-175, but when the kalaway cd loads i enter disk utillity, but there are no disks to chose from..

 

And can´t figure out Bios options either..(ACHI)

 

Impossible maybe?

Ok so it's actually my laptop and he's helping me with it.

 

i thought it might help if i posted the hardware that is in the laptop?

 

Anyways:

 

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 @ 1.18Ghz

BIOS: 1.1 Phoenix Technologies Ltd.

VIDEO: Ati 2400HD (896Mb Shared)

CHIPSET: Intel 965PM

HDD: 160GB 5400Rpm

Alright i totally formatted my pc with the ubuntu boot cdrom and made 2 partitions:- Primary 100Gb (nfts)- Primary 40Gb (Fat32)(i had this turned around first time so it told me i couldn't deactivate the 40gb partition so it wasn't completely capable of installing, so this time i have it the other way that i can't deactivate the nfts partition but i can, i hope, deactivate the 40gb and format it.)Now it says it is working.. i am able to install.. i'll keep you up to date within the hour if it is working!

I was able to deactivate the 40GB this time and i made it a "Mac OS Journaled" partition called Leopard.Now i have picked advanced installation and unchecked everything.Ok i'll keep this updated

It installed and i'm now booting the dvd again to patch I'm still gonna update

Ok, So now we got Leo installed Using Ubunt to partition, and Leopard DVD to Format i HFS+

Got Sound Workin with AzaliaAudio.pkg

Lan Worked out of the box..

Radeon HD 2400 only Vesa

 

Tried installing Installing EfI wich gave an Kernel Panic..

So anybody seen that beefore?

 

Tried Booting with -legacy

and -x -f -v

and -s

none worked..

replacing mach_kernel with patched one worked..

dsmos.kext wining now.. so Efi not functional?

 

All Ideas whould be great..
