yaemish
Did some reading and tried to edit IONetworkingFamily. My card should be the AppleIntel8254xethernet but I'm not sure that I edited it correctly. Still, no network card shows up. Windows calls it the Intel Pro 1000GT. Any help is appreciated. Also, didn't install the EFI patch at all.
frizbot
Should work in 10.4. I've no idea about Leopard, but I'll need it working too.
yaemish
Modifying the AppleIntel8254xethernet didn't help. I am going to try to modify the AppleIntel8255x and see what it does. Should the devices be showing up under "PCI Devices"? The system shows no PCI devices, so I wonder if I need to modify something lese as well. frizbot
Under 10.4 it does not show up as a PCI device. It is only "built in ethernet" under Network->Locations in the System Profiler. Same under System Preferences. If it isn't showing up there, I have no idea what to do other than bump your thread. I've been wanting to know if the Pro 1000 PT adapter (PCI-E) would work as well but no one seems to have it. It's a better version of this great GT card, so hopefully they'll work. Check the /var/log/syslog and such for ethernet entries.
