madrigal77
Hey all, Noob here trying to give Tiger a go on my PC. I've tried about 5 different ISO's and all but one crash and then reboot as soon as Darwin is done loading. The one ISO that does anything different is Kalyway 10.4.10 (IntelSSE3 + V1.1_AMD&SSE2_Patch+fixes). This one starts to load Darwin, and then spits out this error: System Config File '/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found. This after patching the ISO with the included AMD fixes and patches. Hardware is as follows: Mobo: Gygabyte GA-MA69VM-S2 Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ RAM: 2GB DDR2 Video Card: ATI Radeon X1200 Any help getting this running would be greatly appreciated. Uscg.Matthew
Hello, Have you tryed Uphuck 1.4u r3 ? It works very well i hear.. as for the situation at hand... Make sure in your bios that S.M.A.R.T disk is not on, Try playing with the jumpers on the drives... Sometimes they need to be configured. If push comes to shove.. Try removing any PCI cards or any variable things and keep trying. madrigal77
Thanks for the reply. S.M.A.R.T is off, and the uphuck ISO is one of the ones I tried that kept crashing loading Darwin. I just tried the jumpers and it's still a no go. Any other ideas? Thanks a lot.
