minion187
as for booting, you need a bootloader. Partition Magic has one and i've read about people using the XP bootloader somehow. try googling Windows Bootloader or XP Bootloader something like that, see if you can find how to add an entry to it. it's the menu you get if you install 2 windows versions etc. that lets you select which to boot. there's a few others i can't think of Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/75010-osx86-105-leopard-xp-booting/#findComment-529787 Share on other sites
oksushi
I run both XP (first partition) and OSX (second partition). I had XP installed first, then when I installed OSX I found I could boot to XP via the darwin bootloader. Tetsuhiko
this is what i did with my dual booting on one hdd i had tboot placed at my root of my windows installation and edit boot.ini with c:\tboot=”Mac OS Leopard for X86″ as the last line. or if you want to make leopard as your primary os, you can use diskpart in windows and set the second partition active, and if you wan to boot back to windows, press F8 for the darwin bootloader before it boots into leopard. Hopefully this helps.. anyway. any help for installing EFI? i kept trying and kept failing.
