I've got an Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe motherboard, an AMD Black Edition 5000+, an eVGA 8800GTS 320mb, 2 gigs of DDR800, an Pioneer 212 SATA DVD-R, and am using an old (18 gig, circa 1999) IDE hard drive as the primary master when attempting to load OSX.

The first image I attempted was of 10.5, and that didn't go very well at all. SIGSEV0 before I even got to the graphical part.

I tried uphuck 10.4.9 v1r4 last night, and was able to get to the GUI setup, format the disc as Jounaled, and even install OSX to completion. However I might have picked the wrong graphics driver, natit 0.2, or maybe the 8800GTS just isn't supported yet, but when it rebooted all I got was a black screen with a blinking cursor that never went away.

So i guess my question is, will this combination of chipset and videocard work? I've since downloaded MacDotNub OSX86 10.4.10 v1r5 but haven't tried it yet.

Are there drivers I can patch an image with to add support for this hardware?

Hey,

I have a similar set up and I got 'er running 2nd try.

I used the same uphuck DVD and chose the SSE3 AMD kernel. I used the Titan driver and kept the other install options to a minimum. (I did install all of the software though...)

Only things that don't work are the onboard nic's. From reading, seems everyone with the m2n sli is having the same problem with the onboard network card drivers.

Hope this helps.

Hey, I have an almost identical setup to you. M2N-SLI Deluxe, x2 6000+, 8800 GTS.

I followed this guide to get mine installed: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...lway_AMD_10_5_2

I can't access SATA drives yet and ethernet only works every now and then.

Good Luck!
