Inspiron 9400 installing mac.nub

Hi,

I have a Dell Inspiron 9400 Core Duo processor, I'm trying to install the macdotnub distro of Tiger.

I have gone through the initial installation process where files from the install DVD get copied to the HD and the computer restarts.

Now when I boot it starts the OS configuration process; goes to the Location selection page and then fails at random points along the setup process. I've tried going through the setup dozens of times, and it's failure point is most often immediately after the Location selections page. All I get afterwards is a sky-blue screen with an Apple/Gear 'working' symbol that stays there indefinitely.
