Ho un piccolo problema che spero si possa risolvere: ho installato sul mio notebook (un Compal IFL90) sia Mac OSX Tiger (JaS 10.4.8) che Leopard (ToH 10.5.1 aggiornato) e praticamente avviando il pc con tutti e due i sistemi operativi 2 volte su 3 la ventolina della mia CPU non parte, facendo surriscaldare il processore (ora sono sugli 82°). Siccome sono nuovo di questo SO...sapete darmi qualche dritta su come risolvere questo problema? Grazie! [ General ] by paulicat @ 18.11.2006 00:56 CET Ok, so I just got a laptop the other day, and I was forewarned that the fan didn't function properly and you would need to invoke sleep then wake it for the fan to function properly. This worked to a degree, firstly, sleeping and waking on every boot up is lame. Secondly, the temps at which the fan was set to turn on was WAY to hot. Upwards of 61C. Needless to say that made for a VERY hot lap*top. So, in my very logical mind, I said "But the bios/mobo should be able to handle the fan on its own, it shouldn't NEED an os or driver to function!". Next logical step, find the right kext. Enter "AppleACPIThermal.kext" which is a plugin of AppleACPIFamily.kext. Removed that plugin, cleared kextcache, and VOILA!! Fan works perfectly! Temperatures have dropped to the low 40's high 30's!! I CAN USE THE LAPTOP ON MY LAP!!!! So, if your laptop seems like its going to melt, try out this little fix. Be careful and monitor your temps with the freeware Temperature Monitor.app ----------------------------------------------------------- in poche parole devi cancellare AppleACPIThermal.kext che si trova all'interno AppleACPIFamily.kext. nella cartella plugin .. per visualizzare il conteunto di AppleACPIFamily.kext devi clikkare col destro e fare mostra contenuto pacchetto .. comunque non me le invento queste cose .. semplicemente nella prima pagina del forum : 1 : river&Guide - Link alle discussioni importanti, Leggere prima di postare! Morzilla Posted December 5, 2007 Author Share Posted December 5, 2007 Ho installato un Monitor per la temperatura...ti assicuro che purtroppo il sensore o comunque il programma per il monitoring funzionano...arrivati a 90° difatti il pc si spegne in automatico (comunque i C2D sono fatti per resistere fino a 100° se non erro...la soglia critica per l'arresto dovrebbe essere intorno ai 90° circa...certo è che non è bello comunque che succeda questa cosa )...grazie per la soluzione! P.S. Morzilla Posted December 27, 2007 Author Share Posted December 27, 2007 riuppo questo thread perchè il procedimento segnalato non ha funzionato...eliminato quel file nella directory plugins dell'estensione AppleACPIPlatform.kext, la ventolina ogni tanto parte, ogni tanto si rigiuta di attivarsi facendomi bolline il notebook...esiste un altro modo per risolvere questo problema? Morzilla Posted December 30, 2007 Author Share Posted December 30, 2007 Sia con Ubuntu che con Windows la gestione dell'ACPI è perfetta....solo con Leopard ogni tanto la ventolina non parte, e mi tocca riavviare più e più volte fino a che non si avvia...ho seguito tutte le procedure che sono riuscito a trovare, ma nessuna ha funzionato...help! Morzilla Posted December 30, 2007 Author Share Posted December 30, 2007 Ho provato sia a reinstallare Leopard che a mettere Tiger JaS 10.4.8 e aggiornarlo alla 10.4.9, ma nulla...il problema si presenta sempre...mi sono messo a provare a eliminare estensioni o plugins di estensioni per vedere se riesco a risolvere qualche cosa, ma per ora non sono riuscito a cavare un ragno dal buco... Purtroppo con i notebook non è possibile e il rimedio deve essere via software Qualcuno ha provato il kernel con lo speedstep di questo blog? Joeandmat Posted March 6, 2008 Share Posted March 6, 2008 da me appena posso vedo la temp.. per ora non posso... mq la gestione della ventola è pefetta: si spegne se non lavora, va gradualmente aumentando se uso risorse e se riscalda troppo va al max... cmq la temperatura ottimale è 45 in idle e 50 sotto sforzo (parlo di intel... gli amd lavorano a temp più alte, fino a 70 sotto sforzo)... cambiate pasta termica nel caso di fissi, mentre nei notebook, aumentate il flusso di aria, magari alzando il notebook da dietro per prendere più aria... io con il fisso e un pentium 4 prescoot, con pasta termica di qualità scarsa, mi stava sui 70 (un intel!! pazzia!), mentre con quella nuova che ho messo mi sa a 53 max sotto sforzo... bye!
