How do I make Mac OS X boot from harddrive, 'cause it only wants network boot.

I got a number of kernel panics related to network boot, so how can i make OS X boot from existing partition instead of network? Even with DVD boot it gives me a problem. My system is on my signature.

Hello? If you guys don't know how to do it, please answer my question: Tubgirl 10.4.10 AMD SSE3 Test 1 refuses to install on the same volume. How can I force it to install on a already installed volume?? Or how can I install the Base System again using CLI? Remember, not even -s boots, it panics.
