frizbot
You're maybe too new. Leopard is very unsettled right now, and waiting is probably best. Patches are traded until a stable setup is found that most people can use easily. If Tiger works, stick with it for now. I'm not too new, but I'm waiting too. Uphuck was considered a standard in 10.4, along with JaS and Tubgirl. Uphuck is about to release iAtkos, which could become the 10.5 standard, so relax for a while. frizbot
Yep. JaS no longer creates a distribution. I don't know about Tubgirl. Check out uphuck.com for iAtkos information. I actually don't know much about Leopard DVDs; last I checked was a week after release, but nothing big seems to have been released since then. The idea behind the iAtkos release (I think) is to merge all the patches, drivers, kernels, and other options into one that will be tested and will be the most reliable. Another group could release something like that, but it hasn't happened yet.
